Meet Jessica James

I was radically saved while I was in college, and from that moment, my life was completely transformed.

As I began following Jesus, one of my greatest prayers was for godly friendships and a community of believers who shared the same desire to know Him and grow in their faith.

God answered that prayer, and being surrounded by Christ-centered community changed my walk with the Lord. I became actively involved in my local church. It was there that I was filled with the Holy Spirit and began serving—and continue to serve—through evangelism, crusades, outreach, and mission trips.

During that season, a fire began to burn in me for the lost. After seeing many receive Christ as I shared the Gospel with them, evangelism became more than something I did—it became a part of my heartbeat. There is nothing like witnessing lives encounter Jesus and be transformed by His power.

Looking back, I can see that God answered a prayer in my own life by giving me the community I once longed for. Today, He’s using me to help create that same kind of Christ-centered community for other women through Equipped Daughters.
